The questions
Who writes the questions?
Every question is written by UK doctors, not generated by AI. Each one is peer-reviewed three times before it goes live, and weak or unclear questions are culled.
What does the question bank cover?
7,100+ single best answer questions on pre-clinical medicine, mapped to medical school curricula worldwide, with a particular focus on physiology, anatomy and public health. Every question has a full explanation and links to the matching SimpleMed notes.
How do you keep the questions accurate?
Learners can comment on or report any question. We read every comment and fix or remove questions that are wrong or unclear.
What do you get with SimpleMed+?
- Practice sessions: work through questions at your own pace, with the answer and explanation straight after each one.
- Timed exams: work like a real exam paper, with a countdown. Move between questions and change your answers until you submit or time runs out; your score, the correct answers and the explanations appear at the end.
- Progress tracking: your accuracy by subject, your trends, and your decile, which shows where you rank among other learners to the nearest 10%.
- Revision Coach: automated flashcards with spaced repetition. Cards cover the facts behind the questions you miss and are scheduled like Anki, so you save hours of deck-building.
- Daily Question: one question a day, with a streak to keep you going.
- Question review and feedback: revisit any question with its explanation and references, and report anything that needs fixing.
Free and Premium
How much does SimpleMed+ cost?
A free account gives you 1,853 questions: a free practice set for every article, with full explanations and no payment details required. Premium increases that to 7,100+ questions and adds New Session, timed exams, the Revision Coach and the Daily Question. See Premium plans for prices.
Does Premium renew automatically?
No. Premium is a one-off payment for one month or one year, and it never renews automatically. When it ends you keep your free account and all your progress.
Can I get a refund?
UK and EU consumers can cancel within 14 days of buying. After that, unused time is not refunded except where the law requires it. See the Premium terms.
Using SimpleMed+
How do I get started?
Create a free account with Google, Apple or your email address, then open the Question Bank and answer the free practice set for any article. With Premium, set up a New Session or try a short timed exam to see where you stand.
Is there an app?
Yes. SimpleMed+ has free apps for iPhone and Android. Your SimpleMed account works on the website and both apps, with the same progress. Premium is bought on the website.
Who is SimpleMed+ for?
Medical students preparing for pre-clinical exams, graduates and professionals refreshing their knowledge, and educators who want practice questions aligned to high-quality learning notes.
What is the difference between SimpleMed and SimpleMed+?
SimpleMed is a free library of structured, peer-reviewed learning notes. SimpleMed+ builds on those notes with free questions for every article. The optional Premium upgrade adds the full question bank, timed exams, the Revision Coach and the Daily Question. Together, they cover both knowledge and application.
Your account and privacy
How does SimpleMed+ handle privacy and data protection?
We store the minimum data needed to run your account (name, email, username and encrypted password) and your learning activity, such as your answers and timings. SimpleMed+ is operated in line with GDPR requirements. See our Privacy Policy for details.
How do I delete my account?
Open your Profile and choose Delete my account. Your account and learning data are deleted straight away. If you cannot sign in, see account deletion.
Can I reset my progress?
Yes, with Premium. In My sessions, tick the sessions you want to clear and choose Delete selected. Their answers are removed and your progress is worked out again without them. This cannot be undone.
