SimpleMed+ Premium Subscription Terms
Effective date: 7 January 2026 | Version: 1.1 (non-renewing plans)
These Premium Subscription Terms ("Terms") apply to paid access to SimpleMed+ Premium. They form a legally binding agreement between you and us. Please read them carefully.

- “Premium”
- means the paid plan that unlocks Premium features as described on the pricing page.
- “Plan”
- means the Premium access term you purchase (e.g. Monthly or Yearly).
- “Term”
- means the period of Premium access covered by a Plan purchase.
- “We”, “us” and “our”
- means Lili’s Ark Limited (UK Company No. 15424953).

2. Who we are and how to contact us
SimpleMed+ is operated by Lili’s Ark Limited (UK Company No. 15424953).
If you need help, please use the Support links within SimpleMed+ or the contact page on simplemed.co.uk.
3. Eligibility and your account
Premium is intended for learners (including pre-clinical medical students and similar learners).
You must keep your login details confidential and must not share or resell your account. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless it occurs due to our failure to maintain reasonable security.
4. Educational purpose and medical disclaimer
SimpleMed+ is provided for education and revision. It is not medical advice and must not be used for diagnosis, treatment, prescribing, or clinical decision-making. Always verify information against your course materials and current authoritative guidance (for example NICE, the BNF, and local policies) before applying it in any real-world context.
Use of SimpleMed+ does not create any doctor-patient relationship or any other professional relationship between you and us.
5. Premium features
Premium unlocks features such as unlimited practice sessions, review insights, analytics and revision tooling, as described on the pricing page and within the product.
We may improve, add, remove or change features over time. If a change materially reduces core Premium functionality, we will act reasonably and, where appropriate, provide notice within the product or by email.
6. Pricing, payment and taxes
Plan prices are shown on the pricing page and may change from time to time. The price you pay is the price shown at checkout at the time you purchase.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full payment card details.
Unless stated otherwise, prices are in GBP. We are not currently VAT registered, so we do not charge VAT.
7. Term and renewal (important)
Your Premium access lasts for the Term of the Plan you purchase (for example, one month or one year from activation/checkout, depending on the Plan). At the end of the Term, your Premium access will end unless you choose to purchase another Plan.
We do not intend Premium Plans to auto-renew, and we will configure Stripe so that you are not automatically charged at the end of the Term. If you want to continue Premium after the Term, you will need to make a new purchase.
We may send you service emails (for example, receipts, security notices, or reminders that your Term is ending). Marketing emails (if any) are optional and you can opt out.
8. Cancellation and refunds
Because Plans do not auto-renew, you are not required to cancel to avoid future charges. You may stop using Premium at any time. If you want your account closed, you can contact support.
Cooling-off period: if you are a UK/EU consumer purchasing online, you may have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of purchase. If you ask us to start providing Premium during that period, you may be required to pay for the part of the service you received up to cancellation.
After the cooling-off period, we do not provide refunds for unused time except where required by law (for example, if the service is not as described or is faulty and we cannot fix it within a reasonable time).
If you believe there is a problem with Premium, please contact support promptly so we can investigate and try to resolve it.
9. Acceptable use
You must not misuse SimpleMed+ or attempt to interfere with its operation. In particular, you must not:
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service, our systems, or other users’ accounts;
- scrape, harvest or systematically download content except where we provide a feature expressly for that purpose;
- use the service in a way that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes the rights of others;
- circumvent access controls or share Premium content in a way that amounts to redistribution.
We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or our policies, and we may take action to protect the service and other users.
10. Intellectual property
We (and our licensors) own the intellectual property rights in SimpleMed+ and its content, except where we clearly indicate otherwise. You may use the content for your personal study and revision during your Term. You must not copy, redistribute or commercially exploit it without our permission.
11. Service availability and changes
We aim to provide a reliable service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may carry out maintenance, updates or emergency work, and we may suspend access where reasonably necessary.
12. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
Subject to the paragraph above, and to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses that are not reasonably foreseeable, or for indirect or consequential losses.
Subject to the paragraph above, our total liability to you arising out of or in connection with Premium is limited to the amount you paid for the Plan in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
We are not responsible for any use of SimpleMed+ for clinical decision-making or patient care (it is an educational resource only).
13. Privacy and data protection
Our Privacy Policy (available on simplemed.co.uk) explains how we collect and use personal data and how cookies are used.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to bring them to your attention (for example by notice within SimpleMed+ or by email). The version in force at the time of your purchase will apply to that purchase, unless a change is required by law.
15. Complaints and dispute resolution
If you have a complaint, please contact support first so we can try to resolve it.
If we cannot resolve a dispute, you may have the right to use alternative dispute resolution (ADR). We do not require you to use ADR and you remain free to bring a claim in the courts.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms, subject to any mandatory consumer protections.
