Timed Sessions
Simulate an exam from start to finish: launch, play, wrap up, and analyse with timed-specific dashboards.
Timed Sessions
Use timed mode when you want to rehearse exam conditions: countdown timer, optional per-question cap, and enforced pacing.
Enable timed mode
- Open New Session (or Configure) and switch on Timed session.
- Set the total time limit; add a per-question cap or No back rule if you want to mimic specific exam formats.
- Start the session. From this point the server clocks time even if you reload or switch devices.
During the exam
- Watch the countdown and pace indicator in the header; it turns amber/red as you drift behind target.
- If No back is active, earlier questions lock as soon as you move on.
- Submit at any time with Finish or keep working until the timer expires.
After finishing
- The Timed session summary shows score, attempts, pacing, percentile, and readiness.
- The Timed review view lets you step through each answer once the clock has stopped.
Important: Timed sessions cannot be paused. Server time is authoritative even if your local clock differs.
